Star Battle

How to play

Place stars so that every row, every column and every colouredregion has exactly one. Stars may never touch, not even diagonally.

• Tap a cell once to cross it out, twice for a star, and again to clear it.
• Drag across empty cells to cross out several at once.
• On a keyboard: arrow keys move, Space cycles, S places a star, X crosses out and Backspace clears.
• A star crosses out the cells it rules out automatically. You can turn this off in Settings.
• Stuck? Hint explains the next logical step and can make the move for you. Every puzzle has exactly one solution and can be solved without guessing.

Two new puzzles every day at 00:00 UTC: Normal (8×8) and Hard(10×10). Your streak counts days with at least one puzzle solved.

Puzzles are generated for this Playdle edition. The clock starts with your first move and pauses while the tab is hidden or a window is open.
